Linked Hospital Ward – Episode 2
830 viewsLocated a mere two hours from the bustling metropolis of Tokyo, Kiyosato Hospital is where newly-minted medical graduate, Shuji, finds himself posted after completing his studies. A heavy cloud of sorrow and guilt still lingers over him, as it was at this very hospital that his father tragically passed away during an operation while he, Shuji, was just a young college student. This devastating loss is what initially drove him to pursue medicine - in the hope of someday understanding exactly how things went wrong for his dad and prevent such a tragedy from happening again.
Now, almost ten years later, as time has passed, Shuji's relentless quest seems to be hitting one dead-end after another. That is until he begins work at Kiyosato Hospital itself, where the very doctor responsible for his father's fateful operation - none other than Dr. Takao himself - now holds a prominent position as Assistant Director of this facility.
Not only that but on Shuji's first day on the job, he also finds himself face-to-face with Misako; his former girlfriend from those harrowing days when everything fell apart for him and his family. A twist of fate, it seems, as she is now married to none other than Dr. Takao! This revelation throws Shuji's world into turmoil once again - he can't help but question the circumstances surrounding their union, especially given her past connection with both himself and his father...
Thus begins a journey of vengeance, redemption, and perhaps even love as our protagonist, fueled by an unquenchable thirst for justice and truth, seeks to unravel the mystery behind Dr. Takao's dubious past, all while trying to win back Misako from her newfound life with his father's murderer. This is a tale of passion, obsession, and raw human emotion - where nothing will deter our hero in his mission for closure, no matter what means he has to employ along the way...
