Tsuki Kagerou – Episode 3

In the era between Meiji and Shouwa, known as Taisho, a time when yellow and red leaves would rain down from trees like confetti, our protagonist embarks on a journey away from the Imperial city. Clinging to a big trunk and sporting an appreciative smile at the sights he encounters along the way, this young man seems destined for great things - or perhaps just some good old-fashioned nostalgia.

As directed by his father's words, our hero finds himself in this town during their autumn festival; a time when everything is vibrant and alive with colorful foliage. As he wanders the streets, memories of home seem to wash over him like so many waves, each one leaving an indelible mark on both heart and mind alike.

Days go by, filled with laughter, tears, joy...and eventually, he meets two girls who would forever change his life in ways neither they nor he could ever imagine. As fate would have it, these two beautiful souls become intertwined within the threads of this young man's existence; one in particular capturing not just his heart but also stirring something deep inside him that seems almost primal.

As their bond strengthens and evolves into love - a kind of love born from destiny itself rather than mere chance - we cannot help but wonder, was it this very reason why our hero was sent to this small town in the first place? Or perhaps there's more to these autumn days than meets the eye.

One thing remains certain: wherever life takes them next, both he and his beloved companion(s) will undoubtedly forge a path illuminated by passion, love, and memories that would last an eternity...and maybe even some naughty escapades under the moonlit autumn sky (wink).
