In the wake of devastating earthquakes back in '14 that left Tokyo in ruins, our bustling cityscape shifted its focus from what was once the heart of Nishitokyo to the new urban hub. Meanwhile, those iconic neighborhoods like Shinjuku and submerged parts of Minato were plunged into chaos as they transformed into grimy slums filled with refugees, criminals, and terrorists—a veritable hotbed for crime, so much so that it earned itself the ignominious title of 'Crime Capital of the World'. Fast forward to 2049: a time when law enforcement takes on an even greater sense of urgency as they tackle these gritty streets. Two tough-as-nails female officers brace themselves for a high-stakes mission; their target? None other than a notorious drug dealer who's been wreaking havoc all across this urban jungle.
