Rei Zero – Episode 1

In the aftermath of the devastating earthquakes back in '14 that flattened Tokyo, our once bustling city found itself having to relocate its heart to what was previously known as Nishitokyo. It's a grim reality nowadays; Shinjuku and the underwater Minato wards have transformed into nothing but filthy slums filled with refugees, mobsters, and even terrorists. All this due to those Immigration Laws that took effect back in '40, making them nothing more than crime central of today's world.

So now, it's 2049—a time where our protagonist ladies set out on a mission of justice: apprehending a notorious drug dealer who's been wreaking havoc in this seedy underworld.
