Shuugo Takashiro finds himself investigating the mysterious disappearance of a young girl from an upstanding family after his former superior, Arishima Kazuma, was assigned as her guardian. His journey leads him straight to the Kouzuki household - home base for this twisted tale.

There he meets none other than beautiful and enigmatic Kouzuki Kazuna, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Shuugo's past lover Yura. She begs his help in finding her missing twin sister. But things take a darker turn when the girl's father, Keiichirou Kouzuki, bluntly tells him:
