Pakomane Watashi – Episode 1
166 viewsHakohou High is more than just an elite local school - it's a damn prestigious one! Its legendary baseball team has made quite the name for itself in previous years, reaching some serious heights at those national championship games. Anyway, so this newbie freshman named Saki sees all that badassery from her first-year perspective and gets hooked on the game. Can't blame her, right? I mean, who wouldn't want to jump headfirst into this amazing world of baseball after witnessing some serious skill on display?!
Suffice it to say, Saki is determined as hell to join the ride and become a part of Hakohou High's legendary team. And guess what? She finally gets that opportunity by becoming the manager! Talk about living your dreams, right?
Now, if you ever watched anime or any sports movie, I'm sure you know how hard it is to be a fucking good manager - just like Saki has found out herself. But hey, don't get me wrong here; she ain't complaining! She dives into the role with all her heart and even manages to rope in Nozomi, this awesome co-manager who also happens to be one of the older guys on campus (a senpai). Together they form a pretty kickass management duo. And you know what? The rest of those baseball club members ain't half bad either! They all come together and give Saki an experience in school club life that she won't soon forget. Hell, it might even be the best days of her youth - if things keep up at this pace...
Now, I know what you're thinking; being a manager is no walk in the park. In fact, according to some management gurus out there (I assume they exist?), "A manager’s got to do whatever it takes to bring out the best in her team.” You ain't kidding! And believe me when I say that for Saki and her crew at Hakohou High, this little nugget of wisdom has taken on a whole new meaning.
