Euphoria – Episode 4

In a mysterious sequence of events, our protagonist Takato Keisuke wakes up in an unfamiliar, pristine room alongside six other individuals. These people include childhood friend Hokari Kanae, classmate Ando Miyako, underclassmate Mikaba Rika, English teacher Aoi Natsuki, same-year student Byakuya Rinne, and another fellow from the same grade as Keisuke, Manaka Nemu. The reason for their captivity is unknown to them all.

Suddenly, a voice echoes through the room. This "mystery voice" announces they are now participating in some sort of twisted game. In order to escape this seemingly endless white space, Keisuke has been designated as the "unlocker," and one of these women will be the "keyhole." With their assigned roles, it is up to them to figure out what comes next.

As they struggle to understand their situation, Miyako becomes increasingly furious at this cruel game being forced upon them. Her anger culminates in a confrontation with the anonymous voice, which only serves to plunge the room into darkness. Panicked cries from the girls pierce the air as they are thrown back into pitch-blackness.

Just when hope seems all but lost, the lights snap back on. Their return reveals Miyako bound and tormented by a grotesque torture device. Her screams of agony fill the room as an electrical current courses through her body. Everyone looks at Keisuke with wide eyes, fear etched across their faces - except for him.

Unbeknownst to everyone else, Keisuke's attraction towards these women is not entirely innocent. He harbors a secret urge to assault and humiliate girls. Despite his dark desires, he also cares deeply about protecting Kanae from harm at all costs. As Nemu catches on to this internal conflict within him, she decides to use it against Keisuke.
