Busou Shoujotai: Blade Briders – Episode 1

In the late 21st century, humans found themselves facing a brutal alien invasion that seemingly came out of nowhere via those mysterious wormholes. With no way to fight back, they prepared for their inevitable demise until an incredible weapon was discovered in a sprawling cave beneath Japan - one capable of creating whatever you could imagine! Along with it lay its young master Ryuusei, who had been in cryo-sleep all this time. The sudden alien onslaught brought him back to life and he led our species to victory against these interstellar assholes.

One year later, as we struggled to rebuild the cities that got pulverized during those attacks, Ryuusei found himself appointed commander of Earth's newly-formed Defence Force - this time, tasked with guarding humanity from any future cosmic invaders. However, there was a catch: he was literally the only person on the entire fucking planet who could use that mind-bending 'imagination embodiment device'. In other words? If something happened to him, we were all fucked over again. So Earth's Defence Force made a pivotal decision - they decided to recruit some badass girls with potential to fight alongside Ryuusei.

At first, these ladies hesitated. After all, who wouldn't be hesitant about jumping headfirst into an interstellar war? But each one of them had their own reasons for joining forces with our sexy commander, creating this special force called the 'Blade Briders'. Their mission: to protect dear old Earth from those pesky alien invaders who just can't seem to take a hint.
